AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION: In 2009 It Is, Inc. opened the 'Tis Art Center and Gallery on S. Cortez Street in Prescott. Within the restored 1896 'Tis Building are two contempoary fine art galleries which feature affordable fine art paintings, mixed media, photography, sculpture, jewelry and wearable art by Prescott artists. In 2011 'Tis launched the STEPS Art Education program where experienced art educators provide FREE art education classes to Prescott area children. The recently remodeled 'Tis Annex Art Education building complete with a cermaic studio and two "art" rooms is now the home of the STEPS program.  Course topics vary from each class series and are made up of activities specifically designed to enhance thought processing, motor and creative problem solving skills while interacting and learning about various cultures, art history and the natural environment.
