MISSION:

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

Alcoholics Anonymous, founded in 1935, is a voluntary, worldwide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. Central offices are maintained in both Cottonwood and Prescott for the purpose of providing meeting lists, 12-step assistance for the still-suffering alcoholic, literature sales, and information for both members and the general public.

We are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

LET US HELP: Talk with a sober alcoholic at any time, day or night, 7 days a week. Call (928) 646-9428.
